Met in the Johto Nidoran Colony on September 4th, year 2 after PEFE. Caught in a Moon Ball.

Maekrite is Silent's second starter after Inka, and is actually her firstborn. A mid-leveled Pokémon with experience in field combat, escorting and protection, with high endurance, an adamant and highly judgmental personality. He is part of his Colony's patroller force (the Owsla).

Maekrite was granted the duty to follow and protect Silent in a ceremony organized by his colony's breeders; they invoked The Vow as their justification to have the Nidorinos fight in the tall grass and let the human appear before Silent, ready to assist. Was thus caught by Silent at high noon of September 4th.

One of Maekrite's grandfathers (Inka's or Baluarkos's dad) might be called Myght, as Gamer suggests, so that we can make a “might makes right” pun. Probably Baluarkos's dad, since Inka's ancestry is more or less unknown to Silent.

• Call for Family: Maekrite issues by growling a specific call-sign geared as a request for assistance to nearby Nidoran. It is also geared for Silent's easy recognition. Pierce also reacts to it.
• Fury Attack (Ground): Maekrite approaches the opponent and attacks with up/down-wards horn slashes, adding in a lunge with raised paws every once in a while.
• Fury Attack (Ground-to-Air): Maekrite leaps at the opponent while barreling to reach him first with a swipe of the frontbound paw, horn swipe, back paw while rotating, horn strike / paw swipe to build escape momentum.
• Thunderbolt: Maekrite casts Electric-type energy on the tip of his horn and draws an arc of electricity towards the opponent.
• Sludge Bomb (Ground): Maekrite charges an energy ball infused with venom and Poison power, and shoots it at the opponent.
• Sludge Bomb (Air-to-Ground): Maekrite rears up when charging the energy ball and shoots it sideways taking into consideration the opponent's possible escape route. Can shoot it at a short distance to create a cover in front of the opponent.
• Snatch: Maekrite halts himself and casts an aura that steals the energy boots an opponent is casting upon himself. It is not chainable (not an actual status boost).
• Shadow Claw: Maekrite imbues a paw with Ghost Obscura and tries to land a lateral swipe on the opponent.
• Endure: Maekrite anchors himself to the ground and builds up energy to resist an attack. Might require him to expose his flank in order to better distribute the impact force of a physical attack.
• Ice Beam: Maekrite casts Ice-type energy on his open muzzle and fires an Ice-type beam to the opponent.
• Limit Break: Maekrite converts his power output to Special category, builds up energy in his muzzle and horn to fire three rotating series of Thunderbolt, Ice Beam and Sludge Bomb.

At the request of a Deity, when invoked by Absol's EX Call, or by his own volition when his Trainer is in danger, Maekrite can access a temporary power boost called EX Mode by casting upon himself a special version of Focus Energy. Based off the TCG “EX Mons” and Dissidia's “EX Mode”, this temporary super mode grants Maekrite some benefits in battle. It exerts over his body quickly so, just like Dissidia's mode, it barely lasts over a minute and it is instantly depleted upon successful execution of his Limit Break.

During EX Mode:

• his aura is now golden instead of :pink: purple, which can be observed by mons with Aura Vision.
• his life force grows slightly (ie.: a maxHP raise).
• he still gets the 4× multiplier on criticals because of F.E.
• he has one-time access to the Limit Break.

Algira was born in a dam in the Rt.120 lake and had at least two known sisters. She was caught by Silent when her swarm moved to the river west of the Weather Institute to collect nutrients and objects carried by the winds there.

Shahinne (from the old persian al sha-hin, meaning peregrine falcon) is the daughter of Roc, Tagg's Staraptor♂. She was given as an Egg to Silent after the researcher's recurrent failure to catch a Sinnoh Pokémon (any Sinnoh Pokémon) during his stay for the Gold Conference.

Unlike her father, Shahinne is very energetic and can go on pestering peoplemons until she gets what she wants, usually by either pecking or by being pretty. One thing she inherited from her father, though, is a faint, still undeveloped Hyper Awareness sense which is what gives her the Gap Prober skill.

Shahinne's catchphrase is “Silly Pidgey”.

Harriet was one of the Murkrow in Crowley's gang, and spent most of the time following him with them just off camera. However after evolving into a Honchkrow to help fend off a bunch or rival Murkrow, she decided that being in a gang just wasn't her thing and joined Luke's team. She's still a relative newcomer, but seems to be adjusting rather well. A GlassCanon, like her entire species.

Physical specialist. No special Flying-type moves. Takes the role of an adoptive mother to Shahinne because she and Copahue are more or less hanging out.
